Who we are

ERNSC is a non-profit organization. While we do cooperate with the Anchorage Nordic Ski Association, we have our own board and 501(c)(3) non-profit status.

What we are about

Promotion and encouragement of Nordic skiing as a sport, healthful exercise, recreational activity and as a means of enjoying the outdoors.

What we do

We help develop, maintain and improve the trail systems in Eagle River area including Beach Lake and Mirror Lake School Coyote Trails.

We put on races. We get grants for projects like trail lighting project and ski rental.

Promotion of the Junior Nordic Program is one of our main activities.  This volunteer-led program involves over 120 children each year. 

We support an adult Master’s Program through Alaska Nordic Racing
